Itinerary
Day 1 Belmond Hotel Cipriani, Venice
Fly into Venice and take a private water transfer to Belmond Hotel Cipriani. Set on the tip of Giudecca Island, settle into the relaxed atmosphere of your luxurious accommodation.
Day 2 Belmond Hotel Cipriani, Venice
Spend a full day exploring Venice. See the beautiful Bridge of Sighs, gaze up at St Mark’s Basilica and perhaps cruise effortlessly through the romantic waterways on a gentle gondola ride.
Day 3 Belmond Hotel Cipriani, Venice
Today, lose yourself in the myriad of cobbled streets and bridges that connect the island and discover some of the city’s quieter areas. This afternoon, retreat to your hotel to relax within the secluded gardens and take a swim in the serene pool.
Day 4 Belmond Villa San Michele, Florence
Transfer to the train station and settle in to your first class seat, bound for Florence. Upon arrival, a private transfer will whisk you away to the charming Belmond Villa San Michele. Perched on the hills above Florence with enchanting views over the city, the hotel is housed in a beautifully renovated 15th Century monastery.
Day 5 Belmond Villa San Michele, Florence
A short transfer away, Florence is waiting to be explored. Home of the Renaissance, art is present around every corner and the Uffizi Gallery provides an outstanding collection of sculptures and paintings. This afternoon admire breathtaking views from the top of Il Duomo and as the sun sets, walk up to Piazzale Michelangelo for stunning panoramic views of Florence.
Day 6 Belmond Castello di Casole, Tuscany
Enjoy a private transfer through rolling Tuscan countryside to Belmond Castello di Casole. Surrounded by rows of vineyards and charming olive groves, this 10th Century estate is the perfect place to experience the wonders of rural Italy.
Day 7 Belmond Castello di Casole, Tuscany
Explore a wealth of countryside pleasures in and around the lush estate. Start your day with an early morning trail walk and later, perhaps visit the delightful wineries this region is renowned for.
Day 8 Belmond Castello di Casole, Tuscany
Transfer to Florence for your flight home.
