Itinerary
Day 1 Gravedona
Arrive in Milan and transfer to your hotel in the lakesidetown of Gravedona where you will be based for the next seven nights.
Day 2 Livo
Your first walk serves as a great orientation of the region as you head high above Lake Como to the village of Livo. Pass through thick forest and stop by a 15th Century church then enjoy a picnic lunch before heading back to the hotel.
Day 3 Sorico
Pass through the town of Domasco and the ancient village of Aurogna as you make your way to Sorico. Enjoy spectacular mountain views with your picnic lunch before opting to either walk or take the bus back to your hotel.
Day 4 Bellagio
Travel to the picturesque town of Bellagio, known as the ‘Pearl of Lake Como’. Explore a relaxing day exploring the cobbled street, al fresco cafes and beautiful gardens or walk on a ridge overlooking the lake from Civenna back to Bellagio through forests and farms.
Day 5 Como Town
Today is at leisure to explore the surrounding area. Perhaps choose to visit the impressive Villa Carlotta, take a boat trip from Menaggio or take a ferry to the churches, piazzas and museums of Como Town.
Day 6 Monti Di Nava
Walk from Croce to the chapel of Madonna della Grazie di Paullo before ascending to a mountain pass with panoramic views of the lake. Return via the towns of Griante and Cadenabbia.
Day 7 Dongo
For your final walk you will take the bus to Rezzonico and visit its 13th Century Church before journeying through vineyards and orchards en route to the historic town of Dongo. The walk ends with the option of a walk or bus back to Gravedona.
Day 8 Milan
Transfer back to Milan airport where you will catch your flight home.
