Central Europe's Iconic Cities by Rail

Day 1  Prague, Czech Republic    
Arrive into the Czech Republic’s capital, Prague, and head straight out to explore the maze of cobbled lanes and hidden courtyards which connect this beautiful city. The Czechs are famous for producing some of the world’s finest beers, so after anexciting first day, why not relax with a cold beverage in one of Prague’s historic squares.    

Day 2  Prague    
Today, wander the charming streets of the old town, admiring the magnificent Hradcany Castle and famed Charles Bridge, before enjoying lunch at a traditional Czech restaurant. Later, take to the Vltava River on your included Prague River Cruise and view the cityscape from the water.  

Day 3  Prague to Vienna, Austria    
Depart Prague and travel south to the glorious city of Vienna. Stroll through this charming city; perhaps visit the imposing cathedral of Stephansdom in the city’s heart, or perhaps take a ride on the giant Ferris wheel at Prater Gardens for breathtaking panoramic views.  

Day 4  Vienna    
Today discover the many flavours of Vienna on a small group food tour. Enjoy delicious handcrafted desserts and aromatic coffee as you weave through the city’s ornate streets and into acclaimed Austrian markets.

Day 5  Vienna to Budapest, Hungary    
Say goodbye to Austria and board the train to Budapest. Sit back and relax as you pass through scenic landscapes and beautiful rural villages en route to Hungary’s vibrant capital.      

Day 6  Budapest    
Explore historic Budapest on your included city tour. Enjoy superb views from the top of Gellert Hill, witness the beauty of St Stephen’s Basilica and relax on a Danube River cruise as you sail past the striking Hungarian Parliament.  

Day 7  Budapest    
Wake up and head to Central Hall Market for a final taste of Hungary before making your way to the airport for your onward flight.
