Long revered by the Japanese, conquering Mount Fuji is a must-do for more intrepid visitors. It’s a tough climb but the sense of achievement is well worth it.
Please note We only offer Mount Fuji climbs during Jul and Aug when it is snow free and no specialist experience is required, but it can get very crowded during these months. Whilst not technical, this challenging climb is very steep and rocky in parts and the 3,776m altitude must be considered.

Day 1 Tokyo to Mount Fuji
Catch the bus to Mount Fuji’s 5th Station. Meet your private guide and climb through forested slopes for 3-4 hours to the 8th station. Grab a few hours sleep in your dormitory before your early wake-up call.
Day 2 Mount Fuji to Tokyo
Around midnight, begin your final ascent under cover of darkness. After 3-4 hours arrive at the summit and enjoy the magical sunrise. Walk around the crater before heading down the mountain. Take the bus back to Tokyo.
