Itinerary
Day 1 Calgary, Canada
Cowboy fever is in the air as the Calgary Stampede takes over the city.
Day 2 Calgary Stampede
Take your reserved seat to see the enthralling world class rodeo including hair-raising bareback bronco and thrilling bull riding displays.
Day 3 Calgary Stampede
Grab your cowboy boots, jump on the Skyride and soar over the Stampede Park for panoramic views of this incredible event. Enjoy an action-packed evening watching the frantic Rangeland Derby and cheering on the chuckwagon drivers in a series of daring races. The day’s fun concludes with the energetic Grandstand show.
Days 4-6 Banff
Transfer to the unique and friendly mountain town of Banff, located within Canada’s first national park. Enjoy a relaxed walking trail, explore the dramatic, untamed wilderness, and be sure to take a ride up the gondola to Sulphur Mountain for breathtaking views.
Days 7-8 Rocky Mountaineer
Relax on this unforgettable journey on board the Rocky Mountaineer as you carve past snow-capped mountains and pristine rivers, stopping overnight in Kamloops. Sample gourmet food in Vancouver the next day and enjoy a night in this relaxed city where urban sophistication meets wilderness adventure.
Day 9 Cruise Embarkation
Begin your journey to Alaska.
Day 10 Inside Passage Scenic Cruising
Enjoy spectacular scenery as you meander through the stunning fjords and bays of the Inside Passage.
Day 11 Tracy Arm Inlet & Juneau, USA
Here’s your chance to experience a glacial dog sled adventure and enjoy a scenic helicopter ride in Alaska’s capital. Visit the inspiring Juneau Icefield, home to Mendenhall Glacier, a river of ice measuring 1½ miles in width and over 6 miles in length.
Day 12 Skagway
Skagway is a well preserved Gold Rush town and it is worth joining a walking tour to discover its history.
Day 13 Glacier Bay
Pass by impressive glaciers and hear the calving of giant icebergs as these massive blocks of ice are sent into the sea.
Day 14 Ketchikan
Known as the ’Salmon Capital of the World’, Ketchikan is also home to the world’s largest totem pole collection.
Day 15 Inside Passage Scenic Cruising
Soak in the final sights of Alaska’s captivating coastline.
Day 16 Vancouver, Canada
Disembark in Vancouver.
