Day 4  Orange River to Fish River Canyon
Leave South Africa behind as you cross the border into Namibia. The next stop is Fish River Canyon, the largest canyon in Africa, and arguably the second largest in the world. Hop off the Lando, take in the majestic beauty of the canyon and watch as the vibrant sunset slips over the canyon’s rim.

Day 5  Fish River Canyon to the Namib Desert
Continue north along long and bumpy roads, en route to the Namib Desert. Take some time to enjoy your new surroundings where the towering red sand dunes of Sossusvlei make you really feel as though you’re in the middle of nowhere.

Day 6  Namib Desert
Today you can opt to take a guided walk at the dunes and enjoy some free time to explore them on your own. Arrive back at your campsite around lunch time and take down the tents, pack up the Lando, and drive to the next desert campsite.

Day 7  Namib Desert to Swakopmund
Drive further north in the Lando today and get a real feel for the Namib Desert as you cross this empty region over dry mountain passes to get to the adrenaline capital of Swakopmund, your home for the next two nights.

Day 8  Swakopmund
There's plenty to see and do in Swakopmund. Feel free to relax or try optional activities like quad biking, sandboarding, and skydiving. Your tour leader will be able to advise you on more ideas if you need them. Just ask!

It’s back in your Lando as you travel through the coastal region of Namibia to the granite peaks of Spitzkoppe. Upon arrival the rest of the day is yours at leisure.

Day 10  Spitzkoppe to Etosha National Park
Head to Etosha National Park for some prime wildlife viewing, on arrival enjoy a short safari drive in the Lando on the way to your camp. Look out over beautiful desert landscapes as far as the eye can see. After sunset, watch animals at the watering holes near the camping area, which is safe, being well lit with flood lights. Free time at night allows for the option of a night safari in an open vehicle.

Day 11  Etosha National Park
A full day of safari awaits you! Set off into the wilds of Etosha National Park in search of a wide variety of wildlife. More than 100 species of mammals call Etosha home, including lions, rhinos, elephants, giraffes, blue wildebeest, springbok, zebra, and hyenas. Keep your Camera on the ready and go wild!

Day 12  Etosha National Park to Waterberg Plateau

Day 13  Waterberg Plateau to Windhoek
