Itinerary

Days 1-2 Launceston to Bicheno
Arrive in Tasmania and tour the Mine & Heritage Centre before a welcome dinner. On day 2, enjoy a guided tour of the Lavender Estate and sample the lavender-inspired fare.

Day 3 Bicheno to Port Arthur
Enjoy an insightful walk in Freycinet National Park before reaching Richmond, home to Australia’s oldest bridge. Travel on to the Port Arthur Historic Site, once Australia’s most notorious convict prison.

Days 4-5 Port Arthur to Hobart
Join a cruise around the Isle of the Dead before continuing to Hobart. Later see Tasmanian devils up close at a unique zoo experience. On day 5, explore quaint Hobart with an orientation tour taking in Salamanca Place, Constitution Dock and the pretty harbour.  

Day 6 Hobart to Strahan
Travel to Mount Field National Park to view the famous three-tiered Russell Falls then enjoy dinner in the attractive seaside town of Strahan.

Day 7 Strahan to Cradle Mountain NP
Join a cruise on the Gordon River, famous for its mirror-perfect reflections.  

Day 8 Cradle Mountain NP to Smithton
Soak up the serenity of Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park with its impressive range of native flora and fauna. Continue to the fishing village of Stanley, set in the shadow of ’The Nut’ – a striking rocky outcrop, then on to Smithton to enjoy a Tasmanian inspired dinner.  

Days 9-10 Smithton to Launceston
Journey back to Launceston, stopping at the House of Anvers to taste delicious handmade chocolates. This evening enjoy a farewell dinner on return to Launceston before finishing your adventure on day 10.
