Journey

The renowned Rocky Mountaineer showcases the wild beauty of Western Canada. These inspiring, all daylight rail journeys sweep past glistening glacial lakes, soaring snow-capped mountains, roaring river canyons and seemingly endless forests. Choose from three routes, each travelling in both directions through the spellbinding scenery of the Rocky Mountains.

Vancouver Kamloops Lake Louise or Banff

First Passage to the West is a stunning way to cross the towering Canadian Rockies to Vancouver. Depart from Banff or Lake Louise and travel through the Spiral Tunnels, passing over Stoney Creek Bridge on the way to the interior town of Kamloops. After an overnight hotel stop in Kamloops, follow the magnificent Fraser and Thompson Rivers before reaching beautiful Vancouver on day two.

Vancouver Kamloops Jasper

Journey through the Clouds is a two day rail journey linking the exciting mountain town of Jasper with coastal Vancouver. Admire soaring Mount Robson, gushing Pyramid Falls and shimmering lakes en route to Kamloops. Vancouver Whistler Quesnel Jasper

Connecting the beautiful city of Vancouver with the stunning Canadian Rockies, Rainforest to Gold Rush is a historic route through the Fraser Canyon and across the Cariboo Plateau.
