Pine Cliffs Hotel - a Luxury Collection Resort Expert Review

Wow! This hotel really blew me away. I was expecting high levels of service and it did not disappoint.
The rooms were spacious and modern with beautiful tradition tiled mosaics which really encompassed the Portuguese style. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and nothing was too much trouble. Each staff member was polite and engaging with all guests. The facilities are abundant with pools to suit all tastes (kids, lively pool with music, quiet pool, infinity pool etc). The restaurants were plentiful and the quality of food in the hotel is exemplary, Corda Café was our favourite option as this bistro style diner offered a broad range of choices from fajitas to freshly caught fish. The sunset cocktail bar is a must also with spectacular views!
This hotel was perfect for a fly and flop in absolute luxury, I also feel it would be a great place to end a Portuguese fly drive for a few nights rest.
There isn't a great deal to explore locally but Villamoura Marina and Albufeira Old Town are both accessible by taxi in about 20 minutes (we used Uber and it cost approximately €8 each way).
Overall this is a wonderful option for a very chilled break.
