Nestled within a forested valley in the heart of Yatsugate National Park, just a 30 minute drive from Matsumoto, is the stunning Myojinkan. This Ryokan style hotel combines elegant European décor with traditional Japanese features designed to reflect the hotels natural surroundings. A range of activities are on offer such as hiking and mountain biking (payable locally). Facilities include a spa, 2 restaurants serving Japanese and French cuisine and a semi open onsen (hot spring bath) offering guests a relaxing experience amidst the forest. Each room boasts large windows with beautiful forest views. Yamashina Rooms are decorated in a classic Japanese style with traditional tatami mats.
