Sausage Tree Camp

Sausage Tree Camp is the epitome of bush chic, set in a stunning location along the Zambezi River at the heart of the Lower Zambezi National Park. The central dining and bar area is fronted by an enormous teak deck overlooking the Zambezi River and low set reed islands – the ideal spot to relax and spot game between activities. There is also a lap pool idyllically situated right beside the river and shaded by mahogany trees. Activities available include day and night game drives with a private vehicle and guide, walking, canoeing, fishing and boat cruises. Accommodation is in seven fan-cooled Luxury Suites and one two bedroom house, generously spaced along the riverbank, allowing the elephants to amble in between. Luxury Suites are decorated in a cool minimalist style and feature an open air shower, a large deck with private plunge pool, lounge area and a mini bar with leather sofas.
