This stunning lodge offers a truly unique experience. Accessed by light aircraft and located in South Africa’s largest private game reserve on the southern tip of the Kalahari, the vast and dramatic landscapes are breathtaking. Head out with a guide and tracker in your own private safari vehicle in search of some of Africa’s rarest species including pangolin, black-maned Kalahari lion and desert black rhinos. There is a plethora of other activities that guests can also enjoy to make the most of this unique area including nature walks, visits to rock engravings, horse riding, star gazing and encounters with habituated meerkats. Dining is a treat, often taking place outdoors to take advantage of the wonderful climate and endless views, whether its private dining on your veranda or a barbecue in the boma. Almost everything is made from scratch using produce grown and cultivated from farmers and artisans in the area. Guests are also invited for one memorable tasting menu at Michelin-starred Klein JAN which celebrates the best of the region.
