Trailfinders' Charlotte Hewson gives an insight into Queen Victoria Hotel
Queen Victoria Hotel Expert Review
Charlotte Hewson
I really loved the Queen Victoria Hotel and would definitely look to stay here again.
The location is great being just across the road from the heart of the V&A. The rooms are elegantly furnished and a really great size. The bathroom was lovely with a bathtub and separate shower, and we had a great view looking out over the V&A and harbour. The breakfast was a great standard consisting of an a la carte menu to choose from and also a buffet with fresh pastries, juices, cereals, yogurts etc.
The staff were amazing; very friendly and extremely helpful in making recommendations of places to visit and restaurant recommendations. The bar area is also great, and they have a piano player most evenings making it a nice place for a drink before or after dinner!
Top tip: Uber is a great way to get around Cape Town and is used all over the city!
