Tau Pan Camp

Located on the ridge of an ancient sand dune within the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, this comfortable camp offers incredible views over the famous Tau Pan, a large salt pan recognised for its stark beauty and remoteness. At its best during the Dec – Apr wet season, activities available include game drives and nature walks guided by Bushmen trackers. The main area of the camp is set around the fire pit, which is the ideal spot for viewing game at the waterhole. There is also a bar, lounge, communal dining area, plunge pool and shop. The camp also has an elevated sleep-out deck which is located in a remote and isolated area and provides an amazing star-gazing experience (book in advance). Each of the nine fan-cooled Safari Tents is set on raised decks with a spacious lounge area and affords spectacular views over the plains from the viewing deck.
