Arctic Cruises

Cruise
Arctic cruises offer dramatic icy landscapes, diverse wildlife, vast fjords and glaciers, and the chance to discover one of the most unexplored regions on the planet.

A wildlife lover’s dream, the Arctic is the realm of the polar bear, the beluga whale, walruses, sea birds and scores of other rare and interesting animals. Fans of adventure are also well catered for on an Arctic cruise, with activities like kayaking, snowshoeing and hiking on offer.

Arctic cruises are often surprisingly affordable and can be enjoyed in just a few days. A cruise to the magical waters above the Arctic Circle allows you to take advantage of long daylight hours whilst enjoying a spectacular landscape of dramatic fjords and gigantic glaciers. The incredible coastline of Svalbard is a particular favourite, just a few hundred nautical miles from the North Pole.

Winter is a wonderful time to experience the Aurora Borealis, more commonly known as the Northern Lights, one of nature’s most magical spectacles. There’s also plenty of opportunities to combine your Arctic cruise with winter activities like snowmobile safaris or husky sledging.

We have a dedicated and highly knowledgeable Expedition Cruise team who offer expert and impartial advice on choosing the right itinerary and ship for your perfect Arctic cruise holiday. Trailfinders work with many of the top cruise lines in the Arctic such as G Adventures, Hurtigruten and Silversea Expedition and many more.
