December in Dubai can be magical. The city goes all out to celebrate the festive season with incredible light displays, Christmas markets, and New Years Eve extravaganzas.
Witness the mesmerising fireworks at the Burj Khalifa or join the festivities at the global village, where different cultures come together in a vibrant carnival atmosphere.

Dubai&rsquo;s famous shopping festival, held each year in January and February, is a shopper&rsquo;s paradise. With considerable discounts on luxury goods, entertainment events, and fireworks, it&rsquo;s a great time to indulge in some retail therapy.&nbsp;
From luxury brands in the glitzy, stylish malls to unique finds in traditional souks, Dubai offers an unmatched shopping experience during this period.

For those who prefer milder temperatures but still want to enjoy outdoor activities, October and April are ideal. The temperatures hover between 20&deg;C and 30&deg;C, making it pleasant for beach outings, desert adventures and exploring the city&rsquo;s sights and attractions without the stifling summer heat.
&nbsp;

While Dubai&rsquo;s summer (June to September) can be scorching hot, it&rsquo;s the perfect time for indoor activities. Enjoy the city&rsquo;s world-class shopping, indoor ski slopes, and theme parks that offer a cool escape from the heat. Hotel rates may also be more budget-friendly during this period, and it will be much quieter with fewer tourists.

Your day will typically begin before 6am with a gentle wake-up call from your hosts. Freshen up and join your fellow guests and guide in the lounge for a cup of tea or coffee before you head out on your first game activity. Breakfast is generally served after your morning activity, but at some camps or at certain times of the year, you might enjoy breakfast first thing.

Set off on your morning game activity. Typically in South Africa and East Africa these are game drives, whereas in Botswana, Zimbabwe and Zambia they could also be walking or water-based activities. Your host will discuss the options available when you arrive. At this magical time of day the animals are at their most active and you&rsquo;ll spend the next few hours searching for wildlife while your guide brings to life the secrets of the animal kingdom. Your activity will be shared with other guests, unless you have paid extra for a private game drive.

On your return to camp it&rsquo;s time to enjoy a hearty breakfast. With several hours at your leisure you might like to relax by the pool, perhaps enjoy a spa treatment or simply look out for passing wildlife from the viewing deck, depending on the facilities available at your camp. Later enjoy a laidback lunch or afternoon tea.

Mid-afternoon you will set off on your second game activity, as the temperature cools and predators awaken from their afternoon slumber. For many, spotting some of the Big 5 (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and buffalo) is a highlight and certainly nothing compares to the thrill of a big cat up close, however, you&rsquo;ll also discover colourful birdlife and a diverse range of smaller creatures. At many camps you will stop for a well-deserved sundowner drink in the bush, before making your way back to camp.
&nbsp;

Join your fellow guests for pre-dinner drinks, reliving the day&rsquo;s captivating sightings. Evening meals on safari are often communal, occasionally with your guide, and may be served in a variety of atmospheric locations: perhaps in the candlelit dining room, under the stars or beside the campfire.
&nbsp;

Make sure you wear plenty of clothing layers as, while blankets are provided, dawn and dusk temperatures can vary hugely and activities can last around 3 hours. 4WD vehicles are comfortable and typically seat between 6-10 guests. They are usually open-sided with a canvas roof.&nbsp;
If your camp is accessed by air, you&rsquo;ll have the chance for a spectacular bird&rsquo;s eye view of the area en route and perhaps some aerial game viewing. Flight schedules are only decided the afternoon before and you may find that you miss a game activity or a meal on any day that involves a light aircraft flight.

What to Expect on an African Safari

Our adventure began at the <a href="../../hotels/middle-east/oman/jebel-akhdar/alila-jabal-akhdar" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Alila Jabal Akhdar</a> hotel close to Jebel Shams, Oman&rsquo;s highest peak, often referred to as the Grand Canyon of Arabia. The drive through the rugged mountains offers breathtaking views at every turn and as you arrive, the landscape transforms into dramatic cliffs and deep gorges, creating an awe-inspiring backdrop.
Hiking enthusiasts will find lots of trails here, ranging from easy walks to challenging treks. One popular route is the Wadi Ghul Rim Trail, which offers panoramic views of the canyon and surrounding mountains. The cool mountain air is refreshing and the sight of falcons soaring overhead adds to the adventure.
The Alila hotel is a beautiful private hotel nestled on the edge of a canyon with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and is the perfect place to relax after a flight and two and a half hour drive from the airport. There&rsquo;s a wide range of activities on offer including mountain bike hire, geology walks, stargazing tours, and the terrifying &lsquo;via ferrata&rsquo; which beats any coffee to wake you up in the morning!
&nbsp;

After a restful couple of nights at the Alila we headed to Nizwa, one of Oman&rsquo;s most historically significant cities. Famous for its impressive fort and vibrant souq, Nizwa is a must visit for anyone wanting to understand Omani culture.
The Nizwa Fort, built in the 17th century, is an architectural marvel. Climb to the top for a stunning view of the surrounding palm date plantations and the Hajar Mountains. Inside, you can learn about the fort&rsquo;s history and its role in protecting the city.
After exploring the fort, make your way to the Nizwa Souq, where you can find traditional handicrafts, silver jewellery, spices and, of course, the famous Omani khanjar (dagger). The souq comes alive on Fridays when the lively goat market takes place&mdash;do not miss this unique experience!
To truly savour Omani flavours, try the local cuisine at one of the nearby restaurants. Dishes like harees (a wheat and meat dish) and halwa (a sweet confection) are not to be missed. The majboos (spiced rice with meat) was exceptional and even the local &lsquo;Icy Monkey&rsquo; cola was pretty good!

From here it&rsquo;s a two hour drive to Muscat where tradition meets modernity. As you stroll through the streets, you will be greeted by the striking blend of ancient architecture and contemporary buildings. A must visit is the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, a stunning masterpiece that can accommodate over 20,000 worshippers. Its intricate design, adorned with handwoven carpets and a magnificent chandelier, is breathtaking.
After the mosque head over to the Mutrah Souq, one of the oldest markets in the Arab world. Here, you can lose yourself among stalls filled with spices, textiles, and traditional Omani crafts. Don&rsquo;t forget to bargain a little; it&rsquo;s all part of the experience! Enjoy a cup of Omani coffee with dates at one of the local cafes. Our guide advised that Omani dates are second only to Saudi Arabian dates; I&rsquo;ve never been a huge date fan but I&rsquo;m now a convert, especially paired with Arabic coffee and pistachio tahini.
In the evening, take a stroll along the Corniche. The sunset over the Arabian Sea casts a golden hue over the historic forts and coastline. Enjoy dinner at one of the waterfront restaurants and indulge in traditional Omani dishes like shuwa (slow-cooked lamb).&nbsp;
Unlike glitzier neighbours Dubai and Abu Dhabi, Muscat is a low-rise city with the tallest building a Sheraton hotel at 53 metres; wherever you look you have the striking Hajar mountains as a backdrop.
&nbsp;

After diving deep into Oman&rsquo;s history, it&rsquo;s time to explore its natural wonders. The Dimaniyat Islands, a protected nature reserve, are paradise for snorkellers and divers. Located about an hour from Muscat, these islands are known for their clear waters and vibrant marine life.
Join a boat tour from Muscat to the islands, where you can swim alongside colourful fish, explore coral reefs, and even catch a glimpse of sea turtles. On the day we visited we saw loads of turtles, stingray and fish everywhere. The coral is as good, if not better than the Maldives.
Back on land we stayed at the two year-old <a href="../../hotels/middle-east/oman/muscat-beach-resorts/jumeirah-muscat-bay" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jumeirah Muscat Bay</a> hotel, a beautiful new addition to the Muscat coastline. Lovely hi-tec rooms combined with first class cuisine and an enviable private bay location make this a welcome respite after a day exploring. Remember it is hotter away from the mountains with Muscat approximately 12 degrees warmer than Jebel Shams.
We didn&rsquo;t visit, but Salalah in the south is a tropical gem that offers a unique blend of stunning landscapes, rich culture, and delightful experiences. Known for its lush greenery and beautiful beaches, Salalah transforms during the khareef season (June to September), when the monsoon rains turn the desert into a verdant paradise. It&rsquo;s accessible by air from Muscat or as part of a larger fly drive itinerary and Trailfinders offer the <a href="../../hotels/middle-east/oman/salalah/al-baleed-resort-salalah-by-anantara" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Al Baleed Resort Salalah by Anantara</a> and the <a href="../../hotels/middle-east/oman/salalah/alila-hinu-bay" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Alila Hinu Bay</a> hotel which both look fantastic.

Your day will typically begin with a wake-up call before the sun rises. Freshen up and head to the lounge where a steaming mug of tea or coffee awaits before you board your jeep.
&nbsp;

Standard game drives use Forest Department jeeps, which are generally open-top with two elevated cushioned bench seats behind the driver. You will be accompanied by a government naturalist, and while we will always use the best available, they may not be up to the standard of African safari guides. In addition, if your game drive is part of a Guided Group Tour, these may use larger canter vehicles - elevated, open safari vans designed to carry from 12 to 20 passengers.&nbsp;
On our private tours we offer game drives on a private basis, except in Kaziranga and Nagarhole National Parks where they will be shared (up to five passengers). If staying at certain Ranthambore lodges, upgraded options are also available: superior game drives offer more comfortable vehicles, while premium game drives also have the benefit of the lodge&rsquo;s dedicated naturalist/drivers, who are amongst the best in the reserves.
&nbsp;

At this magical time of day, the jungle slowly awakens and animals are often at their most active, so you&rsquo;ll spend the next few hours searching for wildlife while your guide brings to life the secrets of the animal kingdom. Be aware that to manage levels of disturbance to the tigers, game drive routes are strictly assigned in advance by the authorities and are strictly adhered to, so there is little chance of variation even if tigers are spotted elsewhere in the park during your visit.

On your return, it&rsquo;s time to enjoy a hearty breakfast before a few hours at leisure. Depending on your lodge&rsquo;s facilities, you may wish to relax by the pool, indulge in a spa treatment, enjoy one of the optional activities available, or simply catch up on your sleep. Later enjoy a laidback lunch.

Whilst nothing compares to the thrill of meeting a tiger up close, they are notoriously difficult to spot and you may go on several drives without seeing one. You will however discover plenty of colourful birdlife and a diverse range of smaller animals and antelopes. The afternoon is also a good time to try and spot elusive leopards and sloth bears.
&nbsp;

Join your fellow guests for pre-dinner drinks, reliving the day&rsquo;s captivating sightings. Evening meals are often communal, occasionally with the in-house naturalist and may be served in the main dining room or in an atmospheric setting, perhaps under the stars or beside the campfire. Most lodges provide wildlife presentations or short films after dinner, although many guests opt for an early night.
&nbsp;

Make sure you wear plenty of clothing layers as the dawn/dusk temperatures can drop considerably compared to the heat of the day. As the jeeps are open, a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen are essential. A cool box with water, soft drinks and some snacks is provided on each game drive. We recommend you bring your own binoculars.&nbsp;
Please note: All tiger reserves across India are closed between July and September annually, and game drives don&rsquo;t operate on Wednesdays in the Central India reserves.

What to Expect on a Tiger Safari in India

Comprised of 160 subtropical islands, <a href="../../holidays/asia/the-far-east/japan/okinawa" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Okinawa</a>&nbsp;lies southwest of the mainland of Honshu. Okinawa ignites itself as a hidden treasure and allows you to escape the hustle and bustle of the mainland.&nbsp;
Okinawa previously was its own Kingdom &ndash; the Ryukyu Kingdom &ndash; that lasted for more than 400 years. The dynasty brought an abundance of culture and historical artefacts that now feature amongst the islands we see today.

Imagine a destination that has the beaches of Barbados, reefs of the Maldives, the jungles of Malaysia and the starry sky of Chile in one place. That is Okinawa! Or the &lsquo;Galapagos of Asia&rsquo; as some refer to it.&nbsp;
The crystal-clear waters of Okinawa host an abundance of biodiversity that divers and snorkellers can explore in a tranquil setting. Not a fan of the water? You can use one of the many glass bottom boats to view the incredible coral reefs. The marine life doesn&rsquo;t stop there; watch humpback whales put on a show as they migrate from Alaska to Okinawa during the winter months.

The rich, dense forestry of Yanbaru National Park is filled with rare endemic species and networks of twisting mangrove forests that form part of the UNESCO Natural World Heritage sites. The protected and unique ecosystems allow for great exploration - either float through the jungles on kayaks or embark on hikes and trails amongst the peaceful and beautiful landscapes.
After a long day of kayaking and snorkelling, you can settle down on the white sand beaches and join in some of the most incredible stargazing that illuminates the night sky and the waters below. If that&rsquo;s not enough for you, explore some of the ancient limestone caves that are rich in both history and minerals.
&nbsp;

Castles, boat races and unbeatable food &ndash; Okinawa is a must visit for anyone interested in history, culture and art. Not officially part of Japan until the late 1800&rsquo;s, the archipelago was built upon a fusion of influences from all over the world. This is known as &lsquo;champuru&rsquo;, referring to the Okinawa word for &lsquo;mixed&rsquo; and often used to describe the culture of the islands. The traditions and values of the past are vital for the local people and have shaped the fantastic society we see today. Here are my top three cultural activities to do when you visit the islands:
1. UNESCO World Cultural Sites. Spanning over four centuries, the Ryukyu Kingdom gave rise to beautiful castles, temples and gardens that have been able to preserve the history and culture of that time. Shurijo Castle is a must visit on the mainland of Naha. This radiant masterpiece sends you back in time giving insight to both ancient and modern history, highlighting the islands involvement in ancient politics as well as its involvement in World War II. Another must see phenomenon is the Tama-udun Mausoleum where you can stand in awe of the resting places of the kings of the past and learn how their reign was one of the greatest in the world.

2. Live like the local people and join in&nbsp;Ryukyu&nbsp;Shinto rituals. Spirituality and festivals are key for the local people in their desire for peace &ndash; annually they host the Women&rsquo;s Festival which (alike other events) have a strong focus on purity. Another must see is their annual dragon boat races and tug of wars, both of which are colourful and vibrant, fast paced events which showcase strength and courage. Finally, no trip to Okinawa would be complete without a lesson in karate! Now practised by millions, the majestic performing art is said to have originated in Okinawa, tracing through themes of peace and self-defence that the local people see as vital in their society.

3. Okinawa is a &lsquo;blue zone area&rsquo;, meaning that it is one of a few places on Earth where the people have an extraordinary long-life expectancy. Their secret? Eating habits, subtropical climate and the island mindset. Their cuisine is more than just food; locals see it as the &lsquo;medicine of life&rsquo;, as it is equally as important as traditional medicine on the body. From this, there is a strong emphasis on simple nutritional balance and superfoods. I would personally recommend engaging with the Okinawan cuisine and trying out Champuru, Taco Rice and Umibudo. With nourishing dishes like this, you can see how the locals have such a long-life span! Other than nutrition, it is believed that positive mental health has increased their life expectancy &ndash; with the locals engaging in &lsquo;stress-free&rsquo; terminology and culture.

From Prince George, Highway 16 brings you to British Columbia&rsquo;s Great Wilderness. Travel to the Lakes District where you can stop at Burns Lake for lunch or perhaps hire a kayak or mountain bike. In Smithers, admire the verdant surroundings as you take a walk through the historic town and visit a local brewery.
While visually stunning, the route to Prince Rupert is also rich in First Nations culture and history. Visit the &lsquo;Ksan Historical Village and Museum to learn the traditional ways of the Gitxsan people and look out for the many totem poles scattered along your drive, evidence of the deep connection of the Gitxsan and neighbouring Wet&rsquo;suwet&rsquo;en culture with the region. Continue through the beautiful natural surroundings of Terrace and Kitimat, before arriving in Prince Rupert.&nbsp;
To really embrace British Columbia&rsquo;s Great Wilderness, consider exploring this route in a <a href="../../holiday-styles/motorhome/canada-and-alaska" target="_blank" rel="noopener">motorhome</a>. If you have time to spare, join the Stewart-Cassiar Highway at Kitwanga, delving deeper into the north following the Great Northern Circle Route, with opportunities for outdoor adventures galore!

How To Explore The Ranches, Wildlife & Great Wilderness Of British Columbia

Just an eight and a half hour flight away from London and with direct flights operating out of London Heathrow with RwandAir, Rwanda is a very accessible destination. I journeyed from the capital city of Kigali through to Akagera National Park in the east and on to the northwest to the beautiful Volcanoes National Park where I was lucky enough to see the incredible mountain gorillas.
&nbsp;

Often visited for the majestic mountain gorillas, which are a once-in-a-life time experience, there is also so much more to see and do. Known as &lsquo;the Land of a Thousand Hills&rsquo;, driving through this country was a delight. Looking out at the picturesque rolling hills, the beautiful brightly coloured women&rsquo;s dresses, children running home from school, cyclists carrying hundreds of bananas, I was totally captivated by the beauty of local life.&nbsp;
The capital city of Kigali is a vibrant and modern city, with the cleanest streets I have ever seen in Africa. The government here enforce a policy that on the last Friday of the month every single person, including the president, goes out on to the streets to clean &ndash; and you can really see the impact of this. A safe, orderly and organised city, on the manicured tree-lined roads every motorcyclist can be seen wearing a helmet and carrying an additional one for passengers.&nbsp;
Akagera National Park is also a definite must, just a three hour drive from Kigali the park offers the chance to spot the Big 5, as well as offering some of the most beautiful birdlife.
&nbsp;

The gorillas! Trekking up through the community lands and into Volcanoes National Park, pushing past overgrown jungle and turning the corner to see the huge silverback sitting amongst the bush was the coolest experience. To have the opportunity to spend one hour in their company watching them eat, play and explore was just incredible.&nbsp;
With only 14 habituated groups in Volcanoes National Park, it is definitely a privilege to be in their natural environment. The group we visited were called the Segasira group which have just celebrated their first year of being habituated and had two very young babies in the group, a 6 month and 1 year old. My highlight was watching the youngest baby move towards me with such inquisitive eyes and then crawl back on to its mum as she continued to peacefully sit there and eat through the leaves &ndash; truly something I&rsquo;ll never forget.

The World's Top 8 Trekking Holidays

Where? Algarve, Portugal

We were apprehensive about travelling with an infant and a toddler, but we shouldn&rsquo;t have been. The Algarve is only a short three hour flight and is the same time zone as the UK &ndash; so no jet lag issues for the kids. We travelled outside of school holidays in early October and the weather was perfect &ndash; 26&deg;C all week with no rain.
Choosing to stay in a villa (<a href="../../villas/portugal/algarve/boliqueime-loule/casa-campo/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Casa Campo</a>) allowed us access to a private pool, garden, kitchen and multiple bedrooms making everything simple to the extent that we rarely left! When we did, the beaches were superb and local towns very easy to wander around.

From the iconic sight of the Golden Gate Bridge to the towering granite walls and waterfalls of Yosemite, to the rugged coast of the Big Sur, and the sprawl and glitz of Los Angeles - California has it all. Each day felt like we had ventured onto a different movie set, such is the iconic nature of Southern California and all the adventure, excitement, and memories that engulf you &ndash; we had never had so much fun on a family holiday. The biggest problem it poses, is how do we beat it next time..?

Where? Mexico's Riviera Maya Twin Centre

The stunning coastline between Cancun and Tulum make for a great twin centre holiday that is sure to keep the whole family entertained. We started with a few days at the <a href="../../hotels/caribbean/mexico/cancun-and-riviera-maya-beaches/dreams-tulum-resort-and-spa" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dreams Tulum Resort</a> which is a great base to explore the nearby attractions. Within 30 minutes of this hotel you can enjoy the fun-filled activities at Xcaret and Xel Ha ecological theme parks, step into the past at the Mayan ruins, swim in fresh water cenotes, and snorkel with turtles directly from the beach at Playa Akumel.&nbsp;
After all that fun, a few days rest was needed at the all inclusive family favourite <a href="../../hotels/caribbean/mexico/cancun-and-riviera-maya-beaches/dreams-playa-mujeres-golf-and-spa-resort" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dreams Playa Mujeres</a> resort with its three tier pool, huge beach and ten delectable dining options to choose from!

We all agreed our fly drive from Johannesburg to Durban was our best family holiday with plenty to keep our lively kids busy. From the Apartheid museum and Soweto in Jo'burg to horse riding, white water rafting and battlefield tours at Spionkop and Rourke&rsquo;s Drift &ndash; we were not short of a variety of things to do. Of course, safaris with roaring lions and a host of game at the luxurious <a href="../../hotels/africa/south-africa/kwazulu-natal-game-reserves/nambiti-hills-private-game-lodge" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Nambiti Hills Private Game Lodge</a> was a highlight with the beautiful scenery of the Drakensburg mountains a constant backdrop.
Beef and ostrich steaks or peri-peri chicken livers were a hit throughout while finishing the holiday by the sea in Umhlanga at the <a href="../../hotels/africa/south-africa/kwazulu-natal-and-eswatini-(formerly-swaziland)/the-oyster-box-hotel-umhlanga" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Oyster Box</a> was the perfect way to reflect on an amazing holiday had by all.

Putting the 'New' in New South Wales, Australia

As we touched down in San Francisco for the start of our two week long California road trip with the kids, I was desperately hoping that at 8 and 5 years old, they would get the same level of enjoyment from this kind of trip as we had before they came along.&nbsp;
We gambled on San Francisco being the best place to start, building up to the theme parks in LA rather than piquing from the outset (or so we thought). Surely an open top bus over the Golden Gate would prove to be the highlight? Or perhaps the seals at Pier 39? Maybe even the harbour cruise around the bay and Alcatraz? An outsider was the year-round Christmas shop, which given my kids enthusiasm for Christmas, was in with a chance. Turns out none of these proved to be the highlight for any of us, despite them all being great in their own right.
&nbsp;

To understand what did make our No. 1 and why, I have to take you back to 1993 when a film called Demolition Man was released, set in a fictional city in the year 2032. This futuristic film gave us a glimpse of what Hollywood thought things would look like 39 years into the future &ndash; or as things currently stand, 8 years from now. Typically Hollywood got carried away, however on our first morning in San Francisco, my mind was immediately cast back to this film when I saw a car drive past with no-one at the wheel. The future as predicted in 1993, appeared to have arrived. Enter Waymo.
A quick chat with the hotel concierge and I learned that Waymo is San Francisco&rsquo;s latest and undeniably most exciting tech offering, which has only been available to the public for a month or so &ndash; essentially driverless Ubers.
&nbsp;

The app told me exactly when and where the car would be waiting. It also told me that my initials would be shown on the spinning electronic carousel on top of the car so I could easily identify it as mine. Car duly identified, I was able to unlock it through the app. We all piled in, me in the front seat, family in the back, no-one in the driving seat.
Touchscreens in the front and back welcomed us and told us to buckle up, confirm our destination, and press the button to begin trip, which we did, prompting the car to inch into traffic, the steering wheel moving without the aid of a human as I looked on mildly uncomfortably, gripping the handle a little firmer than usual.&nbsp;
Incredibly, that feeling soon passed as I became more comfortable as a passenger in my driverless car &ndash; more comfortable in fact than I am with real people at the wheel. The level of intelligence and driving capability displayed as we progressed through the middle of a hilly and very busy city was staggering. Not once did it do anything questionable or concerning, even successfully turning right on red lights (as you can in the US) and yielding comfortably to pedestrians. What was even more surprising was how normal it quickly felt, and how locals had confidently taken to having them on their streets &ndash; not one pedestrian flinched or turned back!
&nbsp;

The icing on the cake however, was its ability to navigate across a few lanes of traffic and into the entrance of our hotel, manoeuvre around parked cars, and drop us off right by the entrance door to our hotel. And then drive away on its own, which somehow felt even more odd. Where was it going?
So there it was &ndash; the future. The best unexpected experience we were to have in San Francisco, all for $15. If you are going to San Franscisco anytime soon, I implore you to jump in and take a ride before it becomes the norm &ndash; you&rsquo;ll have Waymo fun that you ever thought possible.&nbsp;

As for the rest of the trip, well the issue became how we could top that unexpected experience and to manage the kids&rsquo; expectations about our hire car being driverless for the entire trip.&nbsp;
Thankfully, the majesty of Yosemite National Park, the rugged beauty of the coast, the laid-back surf culture as we progressed towards LA, the familiarity of Hollywood (from TV shows and movies apparently&hellip;) and the excitement of the theme parks all added to the high bar set so early on in San Fransisco. However, none felt quite as surreal and futuristic.
My guess is that by 2032, Waymo will have developed flying cars and rebranded to Flymo&hellip; (sorry).

Chiang Mai is a colourful and atmospheric city set in the foothills of the north and is one of the best places to visit in Thailand &ndash; it makes a great addition to any holiday.&nbsp;
Chiang Mai is considered to be the cultural heart of Thailand, and this is evident in the 300+ sacred pagodas, temples and shrines you&rsquo;ll find scattered across the city. The food scene in Chiang Mai is worth the visit alone; along with world-renowned restaurants, Chiang Mai offers a plethora of food markets and stalls, all serving rich and flavourful northern Thai cuisine, such as Khao Soi (a coconut-based curry with chicken, topped with crispy noodles).
