The Best Things to See & Do in the Lofoten Islands

We started our adventures in the vibrant capital of Seoul, and on our first day we headed straight for a clothes shop where we picked out some traditional hanbok dress. Feeling confident in our new colourful attire, we headed for the historic Gyeongbokgung Palace and Gwanghwamun Plaza. The palace was the main royal place of the Joseon dynasty, and it was beautiful with stunning paintwork, lakes and city views. On our way out we were lucky enough to catch the ceremonial changing of the guard taking place in the main grounds of the palace, which was a great spectacle with lots of music and dance!
After reluctantly handing back our hanbok dress we continued our tour of Seoul with our lovely guide Chris, and our next stop was the picturesque Bukchon Hanok Village. This village has over 900 traditional Korean style home known as Hanoks, and it was a lovely place to stroll around and take in this more laidback part of Seoul. The abundance of small shops, cafes and restaurants meant you could easily spend a whole day wandering through the narrow streets.
&nbsp;

Day two began with an early start for the one-hour drive to the notorious DMZ. The DMZ serves as a buffer zone between North and South Korea and it&rsquo;s a very eerie place to explore, unsurprisingly given there were many remnants from the Korean war reminding us of the significance of this location. We spent a few hours exploring the different areas of the DMZ including museums, artefacts, the secret tunnels used to sneak between the border, and we even caught a glimpse of the elusive North Korea.&nbsp;
Once we returned to Seoul we headed to Jogyesa Temple, a 14th Century Buddhist temple. It was very pretty with lots of colourful lanterns making it a lovely place to roam around, and we were even able to observe a prayer session and learn more about Buddhism in South Korea.
&nbsp;

To finish day two, we headed to the bustling food market to ignite our senses with some wonderful south Korean food and drink. We wandered through the vibrant narrow alleys of Seoul which teemed with life and boasted lots of authentic restaurants and quirky bars! We experienced a traditional Korean BBQ meal at a lovely local backstreet place and went to a bar where the entrance was through a vending machine!
&nbsp;

The next morning we headed to the train station to board the KTX bullet train to Gyeongju. In no time at all we saw the clouds coming in over the hills which signalled we had arrived in Gyeongju. Expectations were high as the city is known as the museum without walls and we were keen to see what all the fuss was about. As we headed into the hills towards the Bulguksa Temple Complex we quickly saw how it had earned that name; the temples are relics from the 8th Century Silla Kingdom, and they were visually stunning with the views, colours and artwork making it a feast for the senses. We also paid a visit to the iconic Seokguram Grotto which portrays the enlightenment of Buddha and overlooks the East Sea, giving great views on a sunny day.&nbsp;
That evening we headed out to a small brewery where we had the luxury of being served by robots, a real glimpse into the future!

Our first stop on our second day in Gyeongju was visiting Woljeonggyo Bridge before taking a leisurely Sunday morning stroll around Donggung Palace and Woji Pond, both of which were beautiful. There was a nice 1km loop around making it a nice stroll for anyone.&nbsp;
After a slow-paced morning we headed to Golgulsa Temple where we had a full afternoon of activities. We started by getting into some traditional dress before heading out for some archery. Then we headed into the hills where we enjoyed some sunmudo demonstrations by the experts and a small concert. After we got some pictures with the Buddha that overlooks the temple, we headed down to do some sunmudo training of our own. This was brilliant fun as we undertook lots of energising activities and learned about some of the key principles of Buddhism.&nbsp;
To finish our day in Gyeongju we headed back to Woljeonggyo Bridge and Woji Pond to get a glimpse of these sights at night; this was spectacular as they were beautifully lit up.
&nbsp;

Our final journey on this trip was a short drive to the bustling port city of Busan. On the way we stopped at Tongdosa Temple, one of the Three Jewel Temples in South Korea. It was a lovely site to explore with sprawling landscapes, stunning temples and great views of the mountains. Soon after we arrived in our final city of Busan, and as the sun was shining when we arrived, we headed straight to Haeundae Beach. The beach was lined with skyscrapers, coffee shops, restaurants and bars, giving the city a very cosmopolitan feel.&nbsp;
Later that evening we went up to Dalmaji Hill in a quieter part of town which gave us some lovely sunset views overlooking the sea.
&nbsp;

The following day we went on a guided tour of Busan, and our first stop was to take part in an interactive cooking class with a local chef which was a very enjoyable experience. We cooked a traditional Korean dish called Bibimbap and means 'mixed rice'. We were able to pick our own vegetables before being expertly guided through the cooking process, as well learning a bit about the history behind the food.
After a tasty morning we headed of full tour of Busan, starting with a trip to the world famous Gamcheon Cultural Village. The vibrant colours made for some great picture opportunities, and we were able to grab a coffee and wander around the picturesque streets. There was also the chance to learn about the fascinating history of Gamcheon and how it came to be a place for refugees to live during the Korean war.
After lunch we made our way to Songnim Park for a relaxing trip on the Busan Cable Car; on a clear day you can experience stunning views over Busan! The cable car disembarks a stone&rsquo;s throw away from Songdo Yonggung Suspension Bridge which connects Amnam Park with Dongdeom Island, giving marvellous views over Busans rugged coastline.&nbsp;
On our final evening we took a boat cruise giving us the chance to see the city beautifully lit up from the sea! The captain along with all the other boats set of fireworks into the night sky which was an incredible spectacle and a lovely way to spend our last evening.
&nbsp;

South Korea is a melting pot of old and new; from historic temples and robots, to laidback beach towns and bustling high rise cities. It&rsquo;s incredibly easy to get around with the excellent train network, and with direct flights from the UK and links to other parts of Asia it makes it a great destination to do on its own or as part of multi centre trip.&nbsp;
My advice: get yourself to South Korea while it&rsquo;s still quiet, because it won&rsquo;t be long until it&rsquo;s the place to be!

During your time here, you will experience local life during a visit to Pisac Market and get the opportunity to marvel at the impressive Ollantaytambo fortress.

Arguably Peru&rsquo;s most famous attraction and where you will be exploring next is the Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu! Remarkably nestled 2430m above sea level in the Andean Mountain range, many questions remain unanswered about how this citadel was established. Theories have circulated and people believe it to have been built at the height of the Inca Empire to be used as either a prison, a defensive retreat, or even as the estate of the Inca emperor. Machu Picchu may be high in altitude, but its gateway city Cusco is even higher! Travel up to 3360m above sea level and explore the old capital of the Inca Empire. Alongside the clear and crisp air, Cusco offers a wealth of stunning architecture and archaeology, and of course spectacular views. The unique buildings cleverly combine both Inca Empire and Spanish colonial architecture, resulting in the unsurprising choice for the city to become a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Whilst in this interesting city, wander around the colourful markets and take full advantage of the buzzing bars and delicious restaurants to have a well-rounded visit.

For the photographers reading, the next stop of this trip is a dream. Lake Titicaca is the largest lake in South America and at 3812m above sea level, it is the highest navigable lake in the world. The lake creates the perfect picture due to its deep blue shimmering waters, the backdrop of Bolivia&rsquo;s highest mountains and tiny floating reed islands.&nbsp;
Start your visit here spending time with the local community to learn about their lives and traditions before departing on a cruise to Taquile Island and the Uros Islands.

After your cruise to the Uros Islands, travel west to Colca Canyon. Being one of the deepest canyons in the world, Colca Canyon promotes sensational scenery and is home to a variety of wildlife. Andean condors are the most notable in this region and are one of the world&rsquo;s largest flying birds. Cruz de Colca (Condor&rsquo;s Cross) is a highlight as it is set deep on the canyon, perfect for taking in the views and potentially seeing an Andean condor soaring majestically above.
&nbsp;

Coming slightly closer down to earth, the next couple of days are spent in Arequipa, the Cuidad Blanca (White City). Arequipa is very rightly famed for its beauty as it is framed by three volcanoes and contains stunning colonial architecture, with many of the buildings being comprised of off-white volcanic rock that gleams in the sunlight.&nbsp;
The city is perfect for exploring, with countless churches and museums to appreciate. Similarly to Lima, Arequipa&rsquo;s food scene offers exciting dishes to sample, being most famous for their spicy regional cuisine, can you handle the heat?
&nbsp;

Make your way back to Lima and drive to the coastal town of Paracas and check in to your waterfront hotel. The lively area has numerous bars and restaurants to watch the gorgeous sunset from. Over the few days you are here, travel to the Ballestas Islands and seek out the marine wildlife which includes sea lion colonies, the Peruvian booby and Humboldt penguins. Additionally, enjoy a scenic flight over the Nazca lines, large geometric patterns and animal shapes drawn into the Peruvian desert, only visible from the sky, the formation of these is a mystery to this day!

Paddington is Heading to Peru and So Can You!

We had joined the 15 Day Svalbard Line, one of Hurtigruten&rsquo;s Signature Voyages which starts and finishes in Bergen, sailing up the Norwegian coastline towards Svalbard via The North Cape; the most northerly point on mainland Europe.&nbsp;
Svalbard consists of three seasons that define its yearly cycle, Sunny Winter from March to May; the perfect time to experience ice caves and go on ski expeditions, Polar Summer from May to September; the season of the midnight sun, and the Northern Lights Winter from October to February; a season dominated by 24 hours of darkness.
&nbsp;

The Signature Voyages are all inclusive so you can enjoy fantastic top-quality Nordic cuisine whilst sampling a wide range of Norwegian juices, beers, spirits, and international wines.&nbsp;
The main lounge is in the 1893 bar and on Deck 9 above, there are several small lounge areas, a library and information area. There is a small conference room and a lecture hall where they give daily talks/lectures, such as Norwegian Explorers, Norwegian Wildlife and what to expect at the next port of call. There is also a gym plus his and her saunas with full glass windows overlooking the sea, very relaxing.
&nbsp;

The destination is the highlight! Offering spectacular scenic views along the Norwegian coastline as you cruise through fjords surrounded by glaciers, mountains and small icebergs. We also experienced an amazing sunset over the North Cape, as well as a repeated performance of the northern lights, which were like a night time rainbow, continually changing colours, spectacular!
Another highlight was Longyearbyen, the Capital of Svalbard and where we had our husky experience. We did the husky dogsledding on wheels, where you interacted with the huskies, helped harness the dogs up and I was also able to drive one of the sledges.
&nbsp;

On our penultimate day we took a tour of the ship, visiting the bridge where the captain gave a talk, and seeing the various cabins/suites. The Inside, Outside and Arctic Superior Cabins are perfect but if you want more luxury, space and benefits then the Suites are ideal.

Spring is a wonderful time to visit New Zealand with warm sunny days, uncrowded trails and the countryside bursting into life. Hotel prices are significantly lower than summer and availability is also much better, both here and in campsites all over the country. With the spring sun melting the winter snowfall and glaciers, rivers are at full flood and waterfalls are at their most spectacular so it's a wonderful time to be seeing them in Fiordland for example.&nbsp;&nbsp;

A Short Guide to Trekking in Nepal

Your day will start with a gentle wake-up call from the crew before a delicious breakfast. Rising early means you will be able to see the animals at their most active while temperatures are cooler.
&nbsp;

Set off on a panga (motorised dinghy) towards today&rsquo;s first exciting sightseeing spot. Your guide will advise whether it will be a wet landing (arriving in the bay and wading ashore) or dry landing (stepping from the panga directly onto land). Depending on the island you visit you may be greeted by sea lions lounging on the sand, land iguanas basking in the sun or curious blue-footed boobies.
Due to national park regulations there will be a maximum of only 16 guests per guide and on most of the islands you will explore on marked trails to help preserve this unspoilt destination. Freshen up back on board before taking time to snorkel or enjoy a glass-bottom boat ride, if available.

What to Expect on a Galápagos Cruise

Your day will typically begin before 6am with a gentle wake-up call from your hosts. Freshen up and join your fellow guests and guide in the lounge for a cup of tea or coffee before you head out on your first game activity. Breakfast is generally served after your morning activity, but at some camps or at certain times of the year, you might enjoy breakfast first thing.
&nbsp;

Set off on your morning game activity. Typically in South Africa and East Africa these are game drives, whereas in Botswana, Zimbabwe and Zambia they could also be walking or water-based activities. Your host will discuss the options available when you arrive. At this magical time of day the animals are at their most active and you&rsquo;ll spend the next few hours searching for wildlife while your guide brings to life the secrets of the animal kingdom. Your activity will be shared with other guests, unless you have paid extra for a private game drive.
&nbsp;

On your return to camp it&rsquo;s time to enjoy a hearty breakfast. With several hours at your leisure you might like to relax by the pool, perhaps enjoy a spa treatment or simply look out for passing wildlife from the viewing deck, depending on the facilities available at your camp. Later enjoy a laidback lunch or afternoon tea.
&nbsp;

Mid-afternoon you will set off on your second game activity, as the temperature cools and predators awaken from their afternoon slumber. For many, spotting some of the Big 5 (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and buffalo) is a highlight and certainly nothing compares to the thrill of a big cat up close, however, you&rsquo;ll also discover colourful birdlife and a diverse range of smaller creatures. At many camps you will stop for a well-deserved sundowner drink in the bush, before making your way back to camp.
&nbsp;

Join your fellow guests for pre-dinner drinks, reliving the day&rsquo;s captivating sightings. Evening meals on safari are often communal, occasionally with your guide, and may be served in a variety of atmospheric locations: perhaps in the candlelit dining room, under the stars or beside the campfire.
&nbsp;

Make sure you wear plenty of clothing layers as, while blankets are provided, dawn and dusk temperatures can vary hugely and activities can last around 3 hours. 4WD vehicles are comfortable and typically seat between 6-10 guests. They are usually open-sided with a canvas roof.&nbsp;
If your camp is accessed by air, you&rsquo;ll have the chance for a spectacular bird&rsquo;s eye view of the area en route and perhaps some aerial game viewing. Flight schedules are only decided the afternoon before and you may find that you miss a game activity or a meal on any day that involves a light aircraft flight.

What to Expect on an African Safari

Our adventure began at the <a href="../../hotels/middle-east/oman/jebel-akhdar/alila-jabal-akhdar" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Alila Jabal Akhdar</a> hotel close to Jebel Shams, Oman&rsquo;s highest peak, often referred to as the Grand Canyon of Arabia. The drive through the rugged mountains offers breathtaking views at every turn and as you arrive, the landscape transforms into dramatic cliffs and deep gorges, creating an awe-inspiring backdrop.
Hiking enthusiasts will find lots of trails here, ranging from easy walks to challenging treks. One popular route is the Wadi Ghul Rim Trail, which offers panoramic views of the canyon and surrounding mountains. The cool mountain air is refreshing and the sight of falcons soaring overhead adds to the adventure.
The Alila hotel is a beautiful private hotel nestled on the edge of a canyon with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and is the perfect place to relax after a flight and two and a half hour drive from the airport. There&rsquo;s a wide range of activities on offer including mountain bike hire, geology walks, stargazing tours, and the terrifying &lsquo;via ferrata&rsquo; which beats any coffee to wake you up in the morning!
&nbsp;

After a restful couple of nights at the Alila we headed to Nizwa, one of Oman&rsquo;s most historically significant cities. Famous for its impressive fort and vibrant souq, Nizwa is a must visit for anyone wanting to understand Omani culture.
The Nizwa Fort, built in the 17th century, is an architectural marvel. Climb to the top for a stunning view of the surrounding palm date plantations and the Hajar Mountains. Inside, you can learn about the fort&rsquo;s history and its role in protecting the city.
After exploring the fort, make your way to the Nizwa Souq, where you can find traditional handicrafts, silver jewellery, spices and, of course, the famous Omani khanjar (dagger). The souq comes alive on Fridays when the lively goat market takes place&mdash;do not miss this unique experience!
To truly savour Omani flavours, try the local cuisine at one of the nearby restaurants. Dishes like harees (a wheat and meat dish) and halwa (a sweet confection) are not to be missed. The majboos (spiced rice with meat) was exceptional and even the local &lsquo;Icy Monkey&rsquo; cola was pretty good!
&nbsp;

From here it&rsquo;s a two hour drive to Muscat where tradition meets modernity. As you stroll through the streets, you will be greeted by the striking blend of ancient architecture and contemporary buildings. A must visit is the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, a stunning masterpiece that can accommodate over 20,000 worshippers. Its intricate design, adorned with handwoven carpets and a magnificent chandelier, is breathtaking.
After the mosque head over to the Mutrah Souq, one of the oldest markets in the Arab world. Here, you can lose yourself among stalls filled with spices, textiles, and traditional Omani crafts. Don&rsquo;t forget to bargain a little; it&rsquo;s all part of the experience! Enjoy a cup of Omani coffee with dates at one of the local cafes. Our guide advised that Omani dates are second only to Saudi Arabian dates; I&rsquo;ve never been a huge date fan but I&rsquo;m now a convert, especially paired with Arabic coffee and pistachio tahini.
In the evening, take a stroll along the Corniche. The sunset over the Arabian Sea casts a golden hue over the historic forts and coastline. Enjoy dinner at one of the waterfront restaurants and indulge in traditional Omani dishes like shuwa (slow-cooked lamb).&nbsp;
Unlike glitzier neighbours Dubai and Abu Dhabi, Muscat is a low-rise city with the tallest building a Sheraton hotel at 53 metres; wherever you look you have the striking Hajar mountains as a backdrop.
&nbsp;

After diving deep into Oman&rsquo;s history, it&rsquo;s time to explore its natural wonders. The Dimaniyat Islands, a protected nature reserve, are paradise for snorkellers and divers. Located about an hour from Muscat, these islands are known for their clear waters and vibrant marine life.
Join a boat tour from Muscat to the islands, where you can swim alongside colourful fish, explore coral reefs, and even catch a glimpse of sea turtles. On the day we visited we saw loads of turtles, stingray and fish everywhere. The coral is as good, if not better than the Maldives.
Back on land we stayed at the two year-old <a href="../../hotels/middle-east/oman/muscat-beach-resorts/jumeirah-muscat-bay" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jumeirah Muscat Bay</a> hotel, a beautiful new addition to the Muscat coastline. Lovely hi-tec rooms combined with first class cuisine and an enviable private bay location make this a welcome respite after a day exploring. Remember it is hotter away from the mountains with Muscat approximately 12 degrees warmer than Jebel Shams.
We didn&rsquo;t visit, but Salalah in the south is a tropical gem that offers a unique blend of stunning landscapes, rich culture, and delightful experiences. Known for its lush greenery and beautiful beaches, Salalah transforms during the khareef season (June to September), when the monsoon rains turn the desert into a verdant paradise. It&rsquo;s accessible by air from Muscat or as part of a larger fly drive itinerary and Trailfinders offer the <a href="../../hotels/middle-east/oman/salalah/al-baleed-resort-salalah-by-anantara" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Al Baleed Resort Salalah by Anantara</a> and the <a href="../../hotels/middle-east/oman/salalah/alila-hinu-bay" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Alila Hinu Bay</a> hotel which both look fantastic.

Your day will typically begin with a wake-up call before the sun rises. Freshen up and head to the lounge where a steaming mug of tea or coffee awaits before you board your jeep.
&nbsp;

Standard game drives use Forest Department jeeps, which are generally open-top with two elevated cushioned bench seats behind the driver. You will be accompanied by a government naturalist, and while we will always use the best available, they may not be up to the standard of African safari guides. In addition, if your game drive is part of a Guided Group Tour, these may use larger canter vehicles - elevated, open safari vans designed to carry from 12 to 20 passengers.&nbsp;
On our private tours we offer game drives on a private basis, except in Kaziranga and Nagarhole National Parks where they will be shared (up to five passengers). If staying at certain Ranthambore lodges, upgraded options are also available: superior game drives offer more comfortable vehicles, while premium game drives also have the benefit of the lodge&rsquo;s dedicated naturalist/drivers, who are amongst the best in the reserves.
&nbsp;

At this magical time of day, the jungle slowly awakens and animals are often at their most active, so you&rsquo;ll spend the next few hours searching for wildlife while your guide brings to life the secrets of the animal kingdom. Be aware that to manage levels of disturbance to the tigers, game drive routes are strictly assigned in advance by the authorities and are strictly adhered to, so there is little chance of variation even if tigers are spotted elsewhere in the park during your visit.

On your return, it&rsquo;s time to enjoy a hearty breakfast before a few hours at leisure. Depending on your lodge&rsquo;s facilities, you may wish to relax by the pool, indulge in a spa treatment, enjoy one of the optional activities available, or simply catch up on your sleep. Later enjoy a laidback lunch.

Evening meals are often communal, occasionally with the in-house naturalist and may be served in the main dining room or in an atmospheric setting, perhaps under the stars or beside the campfire. Most lodges provide wildlife presentations or short films after dinner, although many guests opt for an early night.
&nbsp;

Make sure you wear plenty of clothing layers as the dawn/dusk temperatures can drop considerably compared to the heat of the day. As the jeeps are open, a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen are essential. A cool box with water, soft drinks and some snacks is provided on each game drive. We recommend you bring your own binoculars.&nbsp;
Please note: All tiger reserves across India are closed between July and September annually, and game drives don&rsquo;t operate on Wednesdays in the Central India reserves.

You can use one of the many glass bottom boats to view the incredible coral reefs. The marine life doesn&rsquo;t stop there; watch humpback whales put on a show as they migrate from Alaska to Okinawa during the winter months.

The rich, dense forestry of Yanbaru National Park is filled with rare endemic species and networks of twisting mangrove forests that form part of the UNESCO Natural World Heritage sites. The protected and unique ecosystems allow for great exploration - either float through the jungles on kayaks or embark on hikes and trails amongst the peaceful and beautiful landscapes.
After a long day of kayaking and snorkelling, you can settle down on the white sand beaches and join in some of the most incredible stargazing that illuminates the night sky and the waters below. If that&rsquo;s not enough for you, explore some of the ancient limestone caves that are rich in both history and minerals.

Castles, boat races and unbeatable food &ndash; Okinawa is a must visit for anyone interested in history, culture and art. Not officially part of Japan until the late 1800&rsquo;s, the archipelago was built upon a fusion of influences from all over the world. This is known as &lsquo;champuru&rsquo;, referring to the Okinawa word for &lsquo;mixed&rsquo; and often used to describe the culture of the islands. The traditions and values of the past are vital for the local people and have shaped the fantastic society we see today. Here are my top three cultural activities to do when you visit the islands:
1. UNESCO World Cultural Sites. Spanning over four centuries, the Ryukyu Kingdom gave rise to beautiful castles, temples and gardens that have been able to preserve the history and culture of that time. Shurijo Castle is a must visit on the mainland of Naha. This radiant masterpiece sends you back in time giving insight to both ancient and modern history, highlighting the islands involvement in ancient politics as well as its involvement in World War II. Another must see phenomenon is the Tama-udun Mausoleum where you can stand in awe of the resting places of the kings of the past and learn how their reign was one of the greatest in the world.

2. Live like the local people and join in&nbsp;Ryukyu&nbsp;Shinto rituals. Spirituality and festivals are key for the local people in their desire for peace &ndash; annually they host the Women&rsquo;s Festival which (alike other events) have a strong focus on purity. Another must see is their annual dragon boat races and tug of wars, both of which are colourful and vibrant, fast paced events which showcase strength and courage. Finally, no trip to Okinawa would be complete without a lesson in karate! Now practised by millions, the majestic performing art is said to have originated in Okinawa, tracing through themes of peace and self-defence that the local people see as vital in their society.

3. Okinawa is a &lsquo;blue zone area&rsquo;, meaning that it is one of a few places on Earth where the people have an extraordinary long-life expectancy. Their secret? Eating habits, subtropical climate and the island mindset. Their cuisine is more than just food; locals see it as the &lsquo;medicine of life&rsquo;, as it is equally as important as traditional medicine on the body. From this, there is a strong emphasis on simple nutritional balance and superfoods. I would personally recommend engaging with the Okinawan cuisine and trying out Champuru, Taco Rice and Umibudo. With nourishing dishes like this, you can see how the locals have such a long-life span! Other than nutrition, it is believed that positive mental health has increased their life expectancy &ndash; with the locals engaging in &lsquo;stress-free&rsquo; terminology and culture.

From Prince George, Highway 16 brings you to British Columbia&rsquo;s Great Wilderness. Travel to the Lakes District where you can stop at Burns Lake for lunch or perhaps hire a kayak or mountain bike. In Smithers, admire the verdant surroundings as you take a walk through the historic town and visit a local brewery.
While visually stunning, the route to Prince Rupert is also rich in First Nations culture and history. Visit the &lsquo;Ksan Historical Village and Museum to learn the traditional ways of the Gitxsan people and look out for the many totem poles scattered along your drive, evidence of the deep connection of the Gitxsan and neighbouring Wet&rsquo;suwet&rsquo;en culture with the region. Continue through the beautiful natural surroundings of Terrace and Kitimat, before arriving in Prince Rupert.&nbsp;
To really embrace British Columbia&rsquo;s Great Wilderness, consider exploring this route in a <a href="../../holiday-styles/motorhome/canada-and-alaska" target="_blank" rel="noopener">motorhome</a>.
